I’m writing this blog mostly as a way to work through the various things I become obsessed with over time. Anyone who knows me understands how wrapped up I can get with random thoughts, and I figured this would be a better way to explore them than continuing to bore people with my rambling.
I’m not sure where this blog is going to go–both in terms of content and tone. I’m currently interested in the presidential election, outer space, and the potential impact of information technology on public and personal life. So I’ll probably write about those things. I might also write about baseball, TV, movies or anything else that catches my attention.
I realize that the nature of this medium lends itself to self-importance, but that’s not a major worry because I, myself, am very important. I must be, because I am writing a blog to share my thoughts with the world.
If by the time you read this, I’ve added a lot of content, you probably have a better idea of what this blog is all about than I currently do. Also, you must be here because you’re so enamored with what I think and who I am that you’ve read through my entire archives. Finally, you’re probably wearing a silver jumpsuit, because it’s the future. You’re probably exhausted from hopping mad ollies with your Segway all day, so I’ll end this first post now.
